Lift’s Review Policy
On this page you can find information about how we obtain, verify and publish consumer reviews on liftstory.com, lift.bio and liftapp.ai (the “Websites”).
Where do we get reviews?
In order to get reviews and feedback from our users on their experience using the Websites and mobile application “Lift: Reels & Stories Maker” (the “App”), we use different means, for example:
- • We may take reviews that users left about the App in Apple AppStore and/or Google Play Market (the “Stores”);
- • We may check the specialized online review sites, for example, Trustpilot;
- • We may ask our users about their experience in a communication with our support team;
- • We may take reviews from posts and comments on our social media channels.
Sometimes we may invite our users to submit reviews and offer a reward to those who made it. The reward does not depend on the content of the review submitted (e.g. the reward is given whether the review was positive or negative).
We add a mark alongside a review disclosing that it was obtained in exchange of a reward, otherwise sponsored or influenced by a contractual relationship between us and the author of the review.
How we check the identity of reviews’ authors?
Depending on the review source, we may use different methods to verify that the review author is a real person who actually used our Websites or App.
When we use on the Websites reviews taken from the Stores, we do not undertake any additional checks of the reviewer’s identity. This is because the Stores allow publishing reviews only to people who actually downloaded and used the App, and have implemented internal user verification procedures on which we can rely.
In the other cases, i.e., when we consult specialized online review sites, our social medial channels or communicate with users via support, the following procedures to confirm the identity of the review’s author are in place:
- • Verifying the email address by sending one or more emails and awaiting response;
- • Verifying the review author’s email address in comparison with the email used during registration or making a purchase on the Websites or in the App;
- • Verifying identification by geolocation or IP address; and
- • Verification by using a single user per email address.
How we choose which reviews to publish on the Websites?
Before publishing a review on our Websites, we do some moderation, which includes examining if the reviews:
- • are off-topic (i.e. have solicitations, commentaries not related to our products);
- • contain personal or confidential information, such as a physical address or email;
- • contain or link to illegal content;
- • contain sexually explicit content;
- • promote violence, or discriminate an individual or group based on race, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic;
- • are offensive (i.e. attack or bully others).
If a review falls in one of the above categories, or is otherwise inappropriate, we will not publish it.
To help our users receive unbiased and objective information, we may publish on the Websites not only positive, but also neutral and negative reviews. You can always check the sources mentioned above in Section “Where do we get reviews?” to get additional feedback about our App and Websites.
